This year’s very much anticipated summer school is based on the well known and extremely popular film of 2023 “Wonka”, the latest story in the Charlie & the Chocolate Factory series . Taking us back to his early years and armed with nothing but a hatful of dreams, young chocolatier Willy Wonka manages to change the world, one delectable and magical bite at a time. In the face of adversity, unfairness and greed, Wonka holds true to his belief in the magic of chocolate and what it truly means; the love of those who you share it with.
We will be looking at these themes and the film’s songs to inspire an acting through song performance that family and friends will be able to come along and see at the end of the week. Performance time tbc but will be sometime between 2-3pm on Friday 2nd August 2024.
