The Dorset School of Acting Performing Arts Youth Courses offer children and young people the chance to learn key performance skills with an emphasis on building confidence, self esteem, team work and life skills. We focus students towards a more disciplined and professional approach to performance as they progress to the higher stages. As we believe that every child matters, we aim to provide a personal approach for both our students and parents, developing your child to be the best they can be both on and off stage.
The Dorset School of Acting performing arts youth classes are based at Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts and local venues with easy access to Poole and Bournemouth.
Students will experience training from working professionals and experienced practioners in acting, movement and voice.
All courses follow the academic calendar with three terms of 36 weeks in total.
