Drama School for a Day 2025

Overview

DSA’s ‘DRAMA SCHOOL FOR A DAY’ is still one of the area’s most popular events for those who want to pursue a professional career in the acting /performing industry.  We are proud to still provide this event after 14 years, giving those aged 15+ yrs the opportunity to attend Drama school for a day.  Students take part in acting, singing, improvisation and dance classes and have the opportunity to participate in a Q & A session with the school’s principal at the end of the day. The day is predominantly more of a taster of our post sixth form courses in Acting & Musical Theatre.  This unique day really gives students the chance to experience what drama school is really like and allows access to valuable advice.

Being on the course at DSA has prepared me thoroughly for the next level of training. My time here has been insightful, challenging and has pushed my boundaries to the limit which has strengthened my physical and mental attitude toward a career in acting. The teaching staff are knowledgeable, thorough and the specific attention you receive is personal and they create a safe environment to discover and explore. The wide range of experiences and opportunities that have been offered have has been a massive highlight. The things I have learnt at DSA will stay with me for the rest of my training and beyond and I can’t thank everyone enough.
